Dear Chibi,

My sweet little P-chan is 5! We sure built some fun memories together :)

Every year for his birthday, I like to throw him a themed party that reflects his current interests. Previously we’ve had The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Thomas the Tank Engine and Taiko no Tatsujin. Although he still loves watching Thomas and taiko drumming, he’s grown fond of building with Lego, so a brick party it was :D

Dear Chibi,

Earlier this month, we snuck in a short beach trip to Shoalhaven for 3 days and 2 nights. It happened to be right after the 44 degree heatwave was over, so we had surprisingly pleasant weather. We spent 2 days enjoying the beautiful Seven Mile Beach and the rest of the time relaxing at the holiday park nearby.

Beach, go karts, bouncing pillow, splash park, pool, spa, playground and delicious food. So much fun packed into 3 days :D It was so nice to spend some time away to unwind and relax.

This King’s Birthday public holiday we took P-chan and the grandparents out for a fun day at Calmsley Hill City Farm at Abbotsbury. P-chan loved the animals so much he was giving them hugs and using them as pillows XD We spent the day petting farm and native animals, giving them a feed, seeing the demos, enjoyed a BBQ picnic lunch and of course the tractor ride!

Hubby organised a weekend away for my birthday down south, where we spent 2 nights in a beautiful, peaceful farm in Nowra. April-May is always pretty busy for us, so it was really nice to spend this time to unwind and go slow :D
