Dear Chibi,

Earlier this month, we snuck in a short beach trip to Shoalhaven for 3 days and 2 nights. It happened to be right after the 44 degree heatwave was over, so we had surprisingly pleasant weather. We spent 2 days enjoying the beautiful Seven Mile Beach and the rest of the time relaxing at the holiday park nearby.

Beach, go karts, bouncing pillow, splash park, pool, spa, playground and delicious food. So much fun packed into 3 days :D It was so nice to spend some time away to unwind and relax.

Hubby organised a weekend away for my birthday down south, where we spent 2 nights in a beautiful, peaceful farm in Nowra. April-May is always pretty busy for us, so it was really nice to spend this time to unwind and go slow :D

Drum roll please… P-chan has turned 4!

I knew this day would come.. but I’m still not ready :’) I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to see my little baby grow up so fast….He’s even made his own little friends now. <3

For the past couple of months, P-chan has been a big fan of drums, particularly Taiko drumming. This year Hubby and I threw him a ‘Taiko no Tatsujin’ themed party at home, and everyone joined in on the fun with “A touch of Japan” :D It was such a colourful, festive sight!

Last week we took some time off work for a little getaway at Port Stephens. P-chan has been loving the beaches this summer, so we decided to make use of this beautiful weather and take him to a few more :D (Gosh, February came around fast).
