Dear Chibi,
Today I reached level 23 :D Pokemon Go is still tons of fun, and I’ve been walking so much more because of it! I did 19,000 steps today, and 20,000 the last two days :O Can Chibi keep this up?
You may have noticed my Poke coins have increased! I’ve continued to battle at least once a day to claim my minimum 10 coins per day. I actually didn’t realise you could claim more than 10 coins, if you have more than 1 Pokemon at a gym at the time you claim. You may only claim once a day, but if you have 2 Pokemon in different gyms, you could claim 20 (provided they’re still at the gym when you redeem it!)
Upon learning this, Hubby and I walked around town and took down 4 gyms today, woo! :D We played it safe and claimed 20 coins after we conquered two gyms. We didn’t want to get too greedy and risk getting nothing XD We’ll aim for four next time.

Sailor Moon R: Part 1
Dear Chibi,
About a week ago I received my copy of Sailor Moon R Part 2 on DVD (AU/NZ Madman release)! This is the 4th volume of the series and contains 21 episodes.
Sailor Moon R Part 2 is where it starts to get really good…and oh my the feels. I really enjoy just sitting down and watching the show. You might think it’s simply a case of nostalgia, but I’d like to think the charm and appeal of Sailor Moon is timeless. While this isn’t a Bluray disc, I never thought the video quality was poor, or outdated. For a show that’s made in the 90s, these remasters are great.

Dear Chibi,
It’s been a long time since I’ve played Pokemon, but Pokemon Go is so amazing! AMAZING YOU HEAR ME??!! XD WHAT AM I EVEN DOING HERE I SHOULD BE OUT IN THE BUSHES LOOKING FOR MY JIGGLYPUFF! X3
I installed the game on day one (after everyone was talking about it), but it was not until a few days later that I decided to try it out. By the time that happened, my usernames were all taken … so now I’m stuck with this:
(Seen: 43 Caught: 39)
I’m having lots of fun so far, and it’s making me want to walk even more (which is great for my daily steps!)
Looking forward to Emily’s brunch on Sunday, which is followed by a Poke Walk, woo! :D
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Sydney Concert @Big Top Luna Park

Dear Chibi,
Kyyaaryyyyy :D Last night Hubby and I came back from j-pop princess Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s concert held at Luna Park! It’s a one night show in Sydney as part of her “KPP 5iVE Years Monster World Tour 2016”. I was lucky enough to win a double pass to the show, so Hubby and I were both super excited!! We first discovered her music while on our Japan trip back in 2012. Her music video was playing on a large billboard in Shibuya, and her song “Candy Candy” caught our attention. Who would’ve known 4 years later she would perform in Sydney, and that we’d get a chance to see her live?
It was a standing concert and we managed to get a pretty good spot up near the front (on the second row). Loved the atmosphere, many fans cosplayed and dressed up. I might’ve done something if I didn’t have to come after work XD We weren’t allowed to use our proper cameras, so here’s some pics I took on the night with my phone. Still pretty decent quality :)
Kyary was so cute >w<! It was a simple gig, but really enjoyable. She danced the whole night, wore 3 different outfits and got the crowd pumped. I knew around 80% of the songs, while Hubby knew 100% ;D Shows who’s the bigger fan doesn’t it? He was waiting for her to sing “Kimi ni 100 Percent”, and lucky for him she performed it during the encore :D

Making anime food~ “Gotcha” Pork Roast from Food Wars

Dear Chibi,
This weekend Hubby and I decided to try “anime food”~“Gotcha” Pork Roast which appears in the first episode of “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma”. The protagonist was challenged to make a meat dish (after all the meat were sabotaged in his kitchen), so he came up with this cheeky idea using his grocery items. It is essentially a “fake” pork roast, which consists of lightly mashed potato; mixed with onions and eringi mushrooms, wrapped in thick-cut bacon and roasted. It’s then covered with a delicious fragrant sauce made of red wine, soy sauce and sake.
While no clothes were blown off when we ate this (that was the characters reaction in the show XD), it was delicious! :D Instead of making one big pork roast, we made two smaller portions for each of us. It’s a very filling and satisfying meal for something that doesn’t cost that much to make.
If you wanna try this recipe out yourself, there’s a few youtube videos you can follow, like runnyrunny999 or Feast Of Fiction. Enjoy!!

Dear Chibi,
This morning we built the Sailor Moon Micro Block I received from Kaz :D And when I say ‘we built’ I meant Hubby built ;D The instruction sheet looked intimidating for me, so I just helped sort out the different pieces XD
Work in progress photos:
All up, it took around 50 minutes to put together, while we sipped on tea at our cosy kotatsu. Thanks Hubby :D

Dear Chibi,
See my review of Sailor Moon Season 1: Part 1 & Part 2
Sailor Moon R (Season 2 Part 1) is finally out on DVD in Australia! Part 2 comes out in just a few days. This release consists of 4 discs starting with episode 47 (Moon Returns: The Mysterious Aliens Appear) and ending at episode 68 (Protect Chibi-Usa: Clash of the Ten Warriors). It covers the entire “Doom Tree Arc” and the first half of the “Black Moon Arc”. I was lucky enough to get the limited edition copy, so be prepared for lots of eye candy!! *_*
The limited edition copy comes in a nifty collector’s box, big enough to fit the 2 DVDs from this season. It also includes an illustrated booklet, which I looooove! You’ll find plenty of gorgeous artwork by Italian artist Marco Albiero, who redrew a lot of the old 90s anime art which is featured on a lot of GE merchandise.

Everything is visually appealing from the choice of colours, to the art and design. No complaints, really.
