Japan 2024: Hideaki Anno Exhibition Nagoya

13th June 2024

Dear Chibi,

The Hideaki Anno Exhibition was not initially on our radar, but we spotted a promo poster hanging from the ceiling while shopping at Osu Shotengai… and the rest was history XD. We reserved tickets on our phone and went to a nearby Lawson’s to pay and collect the tickets. I remember we did something similar for the Sailor Moon musicals back in 2014. Thankfully it was fairly straight-forward but.. what ever happened to e-tickets? XD

The day had arrived and Hubby in particular was super excited! Hubby is a big fan of Hideaki Anno’s works, in particular Gunbuster and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

5th March 2016

Dear Chibi,

‘Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo’ is finally out in Australia on blu-ray! 3.33 is the third of four films released in the ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ tetralogy, with the final film yet to come.

Let’s have a closer look at the packaging~ (Click here for Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22)

This is the limited edition version which comes with a slipcase and a mini booklet.

The box is a bit wider than the previous two movies because the booklet is bigger and sits outside the disc case.

Evangelion: 1.11 and 2.22 Blu-Ray

16th June 2013

Dear Chibi,

I received Evangelion: 1.11 and 2.22 Blu-Ray in the mail about a week ago but haven’t had the chance to sit down and write about it until now :D

Let me start off by saying… I haven’t really watched Evangelion before. Well, I have a little bit back in my early high school days but that was so long ago and in-sequential that it didn’t make much sense XD Hopefully watching the movies this time around will be a more fulfilling experience. I want to know what the fuss is all about!

Evangelion: 1.11 You are (NOT) Alone and 2.22 You Can (NOT) Advance

The two came in a very well packaged box. I had a pleasant time un-boxing it and I loooove the look of these. The plain orange and red on the slip covers work well. Since these were part of a series/collection, I lined them up to see how they’d looked together:
