Our baby turns 1~ P-chan’s ‘Time Flies’ Cake Smash

25th April 2020

Dear Chibi,

Happy Birthday to our most precious Little Babian <3 Our first year of parenthood has truly been the best experience of my life. I can’t believe it’s over already…my little baby is now a toddler. He makes us so incredibly happy and proud. Maybe I should save this for a Mother’s Day post, but damn I’m feeling so emotional and grateful for having him in our life T_T AH, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! *sniff*

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Limited Edition Bluray Review

23rd October 2019

Dear Chibi,

IT’S FINALLY HERE! *tears of joy* The fifth and final season of Sailor Moon – Sailor Stars (Part 1) is out in Australia :D As a kid, my sister and I used to rent VHS tapes from our local video store. We watched Sailor Moon in Cantonese and recorded it so we could have a copy at home to watch over and over again. Watching Sailor Moon on repeat was our favourite past time, and Sailor Stars was no doubt my favourite season.

At the time, there was no other way for us to watch the show as Sailor Moon stopped airing on TV after season 2. To have it officially licensed and released in Australia after 2 decades, is a childhood dream come true. Why is this such a big deal? Because for the first time ever, Sailor Stars is available to the English audience (it’s also uncensored and uncut). Not a fan of English dubs? The Bluray and DVDs also contain the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Win-win!

The limited edition box & Bluray case uses some beautiful illustrations by Marco Albiero. I especially love the group shot with all 10 Sailor Guardians <3 This set includes 17 uncut episodes (167-183) on 3 Bluray discs.

Cherry Blossom Viewing

4th September 2019

Dear Chibi,

Can’t believe spring is officially here! P-chan can finally experience warmer weather :)

On Monday, Hubby and I took P-chan to Auburn Botanical Gardens to see the cherry blossoms. The Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival ended over a week ago which meant the busy crowds were mostly gone (thankfully). We attended 3 years ago, and the ticket prices have doubled since. I guess that’s what happens when events get too popular ^^”

We took a stroll around the gardens and managed to take some photos during the short time we were there. Our days are always planned around bub’s nap times and feeds. I think the photos turned out lovely :)

Kat’s Birthday @ Cuckoo Callay

24th August 2019

Dear Chibi,

Today Kat, Kaz and I had brunch in Newtown’s Cuckoo Callay to celebrate Kat’s 33rd Birthday. It was my second time leaving bub at home, though I think I’m ready to venture out alone with him next time :).

Cuckoo Calley was located literally outside Newtown station ticket gates. It’s hard to miss the bright pink logo. I grabbed a seat inside next to a huge mirror which end up being a pretty fun prop to play with XD. Our table looks so much bigger than it is XD.

Happy Birthday sis! Hope you enjoyed your birthday treat :D
