Calling all pups… it’s pawty time!

Dear Chibi,

P-chan has been beyond excited for his birthday this year — he’s literally been counting down since February! XD So when I asked what theme he wanted, he didn’t hesitate for a second: ‘Paw Patrol!’ he said with total confidence. Alrighty P-chan.. don’t change your mind because Mummy had to get straight to work ;D

This year, I made cupcakes topped with cute little doggy bone biscuits and they were a hit with the kids. According to Leo, who may now be my official hype man, “These are the best cupcakes eveeeeer!” XDDD Thank you, Leo—you are too kind but I’ll take the compliment??? AHAHAH.

My proudest pinata creation yet—and definitely the most challenging one I’ve ever tackled! I lost count after about 10 hours of work, but honestly, once I got the hang of it, it was actually pretty fun. :3 There was a lot of drawing, cutting, taping, layering, and gluing involved, but I think Chase turned out pretty cute! (See my previous Don Chan and Lego pinata)

Another one of my favourite DIY projects this time around were the Paw Patrol party hats I made. They turned out so cute and made for the best photo props—seriously, the kids looked adorable in them. I made 4 in total for Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye.

Honestly, I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up. Four more years until he’s in double digits? Where did the time go? Every birthday feels a little bittersweet, but I’m just so grateful to have him in our lives, bringing us so much joy and filling our hearts to the brim. We love you, P-chan. Happy birthday, my sweet pup-loving boy!
