Day at our local beach

30th August 2020

Dear Chibi,

With the weather warming up this weekend, we took P-chan to a mini beach along the river. Quiet and secluded; we found the perfect spot for little P-chan to enjoy a bit of sand play :)

P-chan’s Adventure Park Fun

16th August 2020

Dear Chibi,

Look at this smile ^.^ <333

It was our first time at Fairfield Adventure Park, and it was the largest playground P-chan has been to so far. There were many different play areas including Tree Top, an obstacle course and plenty of sand pits. However, I was most impressed by this baby swing, which allowed us to sit and swing facing him at the same time. As you can see… P-chan had a blast (and so did I) :D

Family Picnic Lunch @Audley

8th July 2020

Dear Chibi,

On Monday we enjoyed a family picnic at Audley within the Royal National Park. Hubby made onigiri and packed a bunch of snacks, fruit and chai tea for a relaxing afternoon by the lake. There were some swimming duckies! It was much less packed coming on a week day, though there were a couple of families enjoying the school holidays.

P-chan’s Picnic Photoshoot

26th February 2020

Dear Chibi,

Just the 3 of us…and a whole lot of love for this little monkey <3 Happy 10 months my precious baby :3

I’m in love with the photos. Thank you Hubby for capturing all the beautiful memories. It took me a long time to choose just a few to share. As always, you’re the best <3

A new decade begins

1st January 2020

Dear Chibi,

I look back at 2019 very fondly. I feel like it will always have a special place in my heart. It has been the most incredible year of my life, with the birth of our beautiful boy and becoming a mother. It was love at first sight. Being able to wake up to his smiling face everyday and watching him grow has truly been a blessing. I love seeing Hubby be such a fun, loving Daddy to P-chan. I guess life has been pretty perfect :)

I hope 2020 will continue to bring lots of happiness, good health and fortune to all our family and friends. Let’s make this year another one to remember <3

Dear Chibi,

With Hubby’s camera in hand, we spent an afternoon at a nearby park for some family time outdoors. Hubby captured so many great shots it was hard to select just a few to share… I’m going to love looking back at these photos one day :) P-chan is the cutest little munchkin :3

Catch Up Dinner @Billu’s

6th October 2018

Dear Chibi,

Last night we caught up with this lovely bunch at Billu’s Indian Eatery in Harris Park. Nothing quite like spicy on a cold, wet, gloomy night :) It’s been a few months since our last hangout and Bert is now pretty huge :D (I CAN FINALLY MENTION THIS ON MY BLOG XD) Can’t wait for the Baby Shower next week :)

Coles mini collection

1st September 2018

Dear Chibi,

Happy first day of spring!!

Coles Mini Collection

Who doesn’t love a mini replica? :D Last month Coles supermarkets had a promotion where if you spend over $30 in one transaction, you get a random ‘mini’ of  a everyday consumer good. Hubby and I regularly shop at Coles but we hardly ever spend over $30 in one go. I didn’t think I’d be able to get my hands on any, but luckily my work colleague was collecting these for her daughter and gave me her extras! Yes… ALL of these were her duplicates!! Lucky me! There were 30 different products to collect. I end up with 13.

Coles Mini Collection

My favourites from the lot: Colgate toothpaste, Tim Tam, Leggo’s bolognese sauce, Oak chocolate milk and Milo.

Spicy Ramen Challenge

18th August 2018

Dear Chibi,

For those who know me, I usually avoid eating spicy foods as my tolerance has always been rather low. Well, over the last couple of years Hubby has slowly trained me up and today sent this challenge my way:

It was actually quite delicious XD.

We both ate a bowl each, and I found the amount of sweat dripping from Hubby’s forehead so amusing XD Meanwhile my face is completely dry and I didn’t drink any water until I finished the whole thing.

WHAT A BOSSS. Yup, I just said that about myself :D

I’m still horrified by the sight of chili peppers though ^^”
