Calling all pups… it’s pawty time!

Dear Chibi,

P-chan has been beyond excited for his birthday this year — he’s literally been counting down since February! XD So when I asked what theme he wanted, he didn’t hesitate for a second: ‘Paw Patrol!’ he said with total confidence. Alrighty P-chan.. don’t change your mind because Mummy had to get straight to work ;D

Dear Chibi,

This year we decided to farewell 2022 with a fun night out at Fairfield’s Illuminate New Years Eve event, which makes it our first time taking P-chan out for the New Years Eve fireworks. It was a fabulous evening of free carnival rides, food trucks, entertainment, jetpack shows, performances and of course the 9.30pm fireworks! The kids got free lightsabers which proved to be quite a hit.

Dear Chibi,

Last month (oh my, it’s December already?), we went away to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary with family time at the beach. We stayed at Pelican in the city of Lake Macquarie and explored some lovely local beaches. P-chan had an absolute blast splashing in the waves. His big beautiful smile says it all <3

Dear Chibi,

We spent the next day at the NSW Rail Museum at Thirlmere for “A Day Out with Thomas”. We were here just 6 months ago, but this event was all about P-chan’s favourite show, so we had to visit again :D We arrived early to avoid the busy crowd and queues and end up staying for 6 hours of fun! So glad the weather held up for us.

Next up we went for the mini train rides. P-chan enjoyed it very much and wanted to go on it again and again. Thankfully the lines weren’t too bad at this time so we went three times XD.

Happiest 3rd birthday to our sweet little P-chan! I can’t believe how quickly he’s growing up..Can he just stay this cute forever? :3 It felt like yesterday when I was planning his second Hungry Caterpillar themed party. For the past couple of months he’s been very much loving the blue tank engine (well, and green…and brown among others LOL), so I knew this had to be his party theme this year. I felt like I spent 1000 hours designing and putting everything together, but it was so worth it in the end seeing him so happy ^.^

Happy 2nd birthday to our Hungry Little Caterpillar :3 He’s growing up to be a very kind, gentle boy and I hope he knows how much Mummy and Daddy loves him <3

P-chan has always enjoyed Eric Carle’s illustrations and is particularly fond of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Maybe it’s because it loves to eat, but most likely because it’s green – his favourite colour. I chose this book as his party’s theme to reflect this innocent time of his life…toddlerhood :)
