Port Stephens beach trip

Dear Chibi,

Last week we took some time off work for a little getaway at Port Stephens. P-chan has been loving the beaches this summer, so we decided to make use of this beautiful weather and take him to a few more :D (Gosh, February came around fast).

Anna Bay

Our first day was spent at the beautiful Anna Bay. Coming on a weekday meant we almost had the entire beach to ourselves!

What a view…

P-chan was super keen to jump into the waves, often running in without us.

Splash!

Still smiling in the aftermath 8D

We also took some breaks and played in the sand…

..while chasing seagulls away ^^”

And making a little wall :D

We eventually moved to another spot where it was less windy to have some lunch and nibbles. Hubby and P-chan then went straight back to work and dug a big hole for us to sit in.

I just love all these little moments… So precious.

One Mile Beach

We had beautiful weather the following day as well, and spent it at the smaller One Mile Beach. The waves were soft and gentle which was perfect for little P-chan.

Using Daddy’s head as a drum

And of course, a beach trip isn’t complete without digging another big hole XD A couple of passerbys chuckled when they realised we were in the ground.

Resort swimming pool and spa

During this trip we stayed at a resort with this massive lagoon-style swimming pool! Of course, we did an entire lap around the pool to experience it’s sheer size. I loved that it was family friendly and we had direct access to it from our room which was super convenient. We end up staying out here quite late, finishing the night off in the relaxing outdoor spa. Ahh…so good. P-chan enjoyed the pool and spa a lot. Looks like we need to come back here again ^.^ (Which would make it our third visit)

We snuck in a final swim in the morning before we had to say good bye :’)

Until next time!
