Dear Chibi,

I’ve officially reached the big 3-0! Also, a big happy birthday to my twinbee Kaz :)

I had the most amazing & memorable birthday, and although it’s a little sad to say goodbye to my 20s, I’m thankful for everything that’s happened in my life. Thank you Hubbiana for spoiling me silly and making me feel extra special <3

Firstly, I woke up to this glorious breakfast served with my favourite chai latte. It was so delicious! I can’t think of a better way to start the day :3 Can I have this every morning? :D

*drools*

We then headed to Macquarie Center to pick up a few things before having lunch at Ippudo. With our ramen craving satisfied, it was time to check-in for the main event!

GLAMPINGGGGG :D For those who don’t know, it’s a term for ‘glamourous camping’~ a luxurious way of spending time in nature without the hassles and inconvenience of actual camping.

We stayed at the beautiful and tranquil Tandara at Lane Cove River Tourist Park. We had our own private sanctuary with a BBQ/kitchen area and en suite bathroom. Who knew there was something like this so close to the city?

Our outdoor dining area which was nicely heated at night. Surprisingly there weren’t any insects around (plenty of wildlife though!)

Fancy bathroom with a double shower and a nice big bath tub.

After we dropped off our things, we did some bush walking to explore Lane Cove National Park. Of course, with the special Pokemon Go event on at the moment, we end up catching a lot of cool stuff 8D #foreverNerd #omgKarpCandies #aWildDratini #larvitarFTW #98IVRhyhorn

The walk was so pleasant & relaxing in this perfect weather :D When the sun started to set, we headed back to our tent to set up for the night ^_^!

Hubby prepared this delicious steak dinner, served with oysters and Japanese potato salad :D What a way to glamp!

Hubby also got me this gorgeous “bush” themed birthday cake from PassionTree Velvet :3 It’s so unique AND SO PRETTY <333 I love it.

Turning 30 is pretty sweet after all :)

We ended the night with some extra spark. Who do you think did it better? hehee~

It was the most wonderful time ~ Thank you Hubby for the beautiful memories. I will never forget this day :) <3
