Dear Chibi,

In this week’s episode, I tried to make Chocolate Brownies following this recipe! The method and ingredients is similar to Rocky Road except it’s baked in the oven like my Muffins! Again, I decided to bake two batches, one on Saturday (for guinea pig testing) and hopefully a better one on Sunday.

Here’s my end result:

Mmm…juicy and gooey ~ Served with Cookies & Cream ice-cream :D

I bought a new sifter and baking tray :D Also replaced caster sugar with white sugar and used left over macadamia nuts from my muffins

250g unsalted butter, 200g dark chocolate, 50g of chopped nuts

+ 80g cocoa powder, 65g plain flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 360g sugar, 4 beaten eggs

Poured into a tray ready for baking :D

The funny thing is, I actually got the measurements wrong on the first batch! It came out extremely sweet. I thought I was going to die from sugar overdose. I added almost doubled the amount of sugar since I misread the measuring cup ^^;  hahaha…how embarrassing. NEVER AGAIN.

Ready to eat :D Really happy with the second batch. The above photo are slices from the edge, the middles ones looked so much better! Very squared :)

    It came out a bit soft but I actually lIke it that way. Have to make this agaIn!
