Seven Mile Beach & the Pipis

29th March 2016

Dear Chibi,

Last weekend Hubby and I spent our Easter Sunday down south at Kiama and Seven Mile Beach. For some reason, the forecast is always rain over Easter, but luckily for us it was all dry when we arrived (It was raining pretty hard on our way there)

Kiama blowhole. I’m preeeetty sure I’ve been here before. I just can’t seem to find any photographic evidence xP

moo.. I see cows!

30th March 2008

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday, after what I believe has been 10 years since I last went.. I went to the Royal Easter Show =D yayayayayay. I was looking forward to it this time cause it was going to be my first time with Jacky ^^ I’m glad we didn’t go the previous week like we originally planned because Saturday’s weather was just right!

As expected, there were a lot of people which added to the atmosphere =) I think we pretty much went to all the sections, checking out the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome, the Fashion, Lifestyle and Shopping, the Flower & Garden Show, the Arts Pavilion and the list goes on. Oh, and of course we can’t miss out on the animals!! I loved them.. and was extremely excited upon seeing them XD I’m pretty sure this isn’t the first time I’ve seen farm animals.. but it’s been a long time. I loved the yellow ducklings and the baby pigs! The other animals like the bulls and cows were so fat and big! lol.

The three little pig’s houses XD So cute..

I kept asking “Are these fruit real??”

yay, donkey! Though this one isn’t as energetic. lol

Fat ones..I think they’re bulls?

Another big thing in the Easter Show are the Show bags.ah.. If I was still a little kid I think I’d go mad with all the chocolate and lollies they had T.T That’s what dominates the bags, hahaa… but yeah, I know I’ve just had too much chocolate this easter! Jacky bought me the Moove Show bag, which is possibly the one with the best value. Useful things I tell you, and that cow hat did a fine job getting my face out of the sun =) I got also bought Mark a One Piece show bag which he really liked so yay. Other show bags were too kiddo-ish, hehee…

Towards the end of the day we checked out the Rides and Carnival section. It gives me much satisfaction just walking down and hearing people scream XD Some of those rides look sooo freaky!! T’is a shame my heart is too weak for that XD haha..

Just when we arrived at the Olympic Park station to head back, it started raining! Phew, good timing =) ..our legs were pretty tired after the day and got home around 7 in time for dinner. Mark’s friends Eugene and Shane joined us for dinner and by 8’oclock….all lights out! It was the earth hour! We did it last year as well and it was pretty fun doing it again. Candles look nice in the dark =)
