Darling Harbour water play & a giant Christmas tree

14th December 2021

Dear Chibi,

It’s been such an exciting month full of fun Christmas activities :D

We had a big day out on Saturday, spending most of the time in the city at Darling Harbour. After filling our bellies with delicious burgers and chips from Ume Burger, we headed to the kids playground where we stayed for the next few hours. The best thing about this playground is all the water features and fountains, which was again, a huge hit for P-chan. He had an absolute blast running around touching every fountain and exploring on the rocky surfaces. I loved seeing the sheer delight on his face as he splashed water with his little hands and feet :3 Hubby did an amazing job capturing all these precious little moments <3

So amused *_*

Farm Stay Weekend Part 3: Mount Annan Botanic Garden

20th November 2021

Dear Chibi,

Part 1: Strawberry Picking
Part 2: NSW Rail Museum

We’ve reached our final day of our trip, where we made a couple of stops on our way home. First we had a late breakfast at Common Ground Bakery in Picton. It had a really lovely outdoor area in the garden which P-chan loved to explore. They were mostly doing take-away, so we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Sweet!

Food was amazing. Everything was so delicious, especially the pumpkin soup *_* Possibly the best pumpkin soup we’ve ever had!

Family day out @Symbio Zoo

2nd November 2021

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday P-chan spent a fun day out with his most favourite people~ both sets of grandparents and of course Mummy and Daddy. After such a long time being in lockdown, it was really nice to go out and spend time with family again. We enjoyed a full day at Symbio Zoo, interacting with animals, having a picnic near the kids playground and water fun at the splash park. All in one location! It was our first time coming here and we were really impressed by the cleanliness and spaciousness. It made for a relaxing, low stress experience. P-chan was so keen to explore, he couldn’t stop walking XD. I followed along and captured as many photos my camera battery could handle (It didn’t make it to the end of the day… aw XD)

P-chan turns 2~ A Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Party

26th April 2021

Dear Chibi,

Happy 2nd birthday to our Hungry Little Caterpillar :3 He’s growing up to be a very kind, gentle boy and I hope he knows how much Mummy and Daddy loves him <3

P-chan has always enjoyed Eric Carle’s illustrations and is particularly fond of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Maybe it’s because it loves to eat, but most likely because it’s green – his favourite colour. I chose this book as his party’s theme to reflect this innocent time of his life…toddlerhood :)

Dear Chibi,

Today we celebrated our dear little Mikayla’s 2nd birthday! Mich & Troy threw her a very adorable farm-themed party with the birthday girl wearing a mini farmers outfit. The crew mostly came in matching flannels and P-chan of course had to come as a piggy :3 Everything was so cute and well thought out. Thank you Mich & Troy for organising such a fun party and having us be part of this day!

Sunday Brunch @ Flower Power

11th November 2020

Dear Chibi,

On Sunday I met up with Moka and her boys for brunch at Frankie’s Food Factory, a modern cafe within Milperra’s Flower Power. We were seated outdoors next to a fenced playground, which was perfect for her two boys to pop in and out of. They are so big already :O Meanwhile P-chan enjoyed lots of cuddles with Aunty Moka :D

Such well behaved boys!

P-chan’s Adventure Park Fun

16th August 2020

Dear Chibi,

Look at this smile ^.^ <333

It was our first time at Fairfield Adventure Park, and it was the largest playground P-chan has been to so far. There were many different play areas including Tree Top, an obstacle course and plenty of sand pits. However, I was most impressed by this baby swing, which allowed us to sit and swing facing him at the same time. As you can see… P-chan had a blast (and so did I) :D
