Sailor Moon Musical ~Amour Eternal viewing

30th December 2016

Dear Chibi,

It’s time for our annual Seramyu viewing again! This year’s performance is titled “Amour Eternal” based on the 4th season known as SuperS/Dream Arc. Fans don’t often quote the 4th season as their favourite, but it’s still enjoyable nevertheless and has a fun group of villains. I’m so glad the Outer Senshi return, because I loved them so much in ‘Un Nouveau Voyage’!

Before we started, I made spaghetti bolognese for lunch and Kat brought along a plate of spinach cob dip! Yum!

23rd February 2016

Dear Chibi,

I’m almost 29 and I can’t stop fangirling over Wallace Huo!! *A*

I also love his on and off-screen chemistry with fellow co-star Hu Ge from Chinese Paladin 3. They recently did a photo shoot together in Hokkaido for the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar China- “Winter Valentines”. I need this *cough* 8D

Dear Chibi,

SailorMoon-UnNouveauVoyage09

Last year, Kaz and I were lucky enough to see the Sailor Moon Musical ‘Petit Etrangere live at AiiA Theatre in Tokyo! It was a very magical experience :D This year there was a third musical production based on ‘Sailor Moon S/Infinity Arc’, titled ‘Un Nouveau Voyage’! This is one of our favourite Sailor Moon seasons because it marks the debut of Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Saturn~ AHHH!! :D <333 Now I wish we had gone to see this one live too!!

On Christmas Eve, I invited Kaz and Kat over to watch the performance together ^^ It was so AWESOME.

Final Fantasy X.

1st August 2015

Dear Chibi,

I recently finished playing the main story of FFX (PS4 remastered version) and have been feeling a little empty inside… THIS GAME SO SAD AND BEAUTIFUL AND TRAGIC. AHHHHHHH.. Just wonderful. I love the main characters so much… Yuna, Tidus, Auron, Lulu, Calamari (ohoho), Wakka and Rikku. I loved seeing Yuna and Tidus gradually fall for each other, but I also loveeeeeeed Lulu and Wakka’s interaction. It was intriguing, which lead me to constantly talk to Lulu throughout the game. I didn’t know about the game’s hidden ‘affection’ mechanics, which slightly changes certain scenes in the game, depending on which character ‘likes’ you the most through your actions. It goes without saying, Lulu end up with the highest affection score so Tidus gets a ride with her, and she’s the one passing the Blitz Ball to Tidus during his limit break 8D. hehee, that’s kinda cool… though WOULD YUNA NOT BE MORE APPROPRIATE? XP

Yuna’s sending. OMG Yuna is perfection :’)

And yes.. I squealed like a 13 year old fan-girl watching the kiss scene >w<

That awesome moment when a celebrity tweets you :D

7th August 2014

Dear Chibi,

The other day would be like any other day, where I’d log onto Twitter, share a few Sailor Moon tweets, read some messages and hop offline. This particular day, I shared a drawing of the PGSM cast I had previously done (The live action version of Sailor Moon).

And then this happened:

Meeting IMMvp @ ASRock’s M8 Sydney Showdown

16th September 2013

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday along with cBsM, I attended the ‘ASRock’s M8 Sydney Showdown’ a free StarCraft 2 event held at the UNSW Roundhouse organised by Oceanic eSports. It was my first SC2 event and I was super excited for the day since my Terran hero IMMvp, a 4 time GSL Code S Champion will be there for the day :D :D Yaaaayy

Meeting-Mvp01

The event was supposed to start at 12.15pm, but due to technical difficulties, we end up sitting in the audience seat for about 2 hours waiting for something to happen. Mvp was probably getting restless, as he started queuing up ladder games and playing placement matches XD (He end up in Silver league)

Michael Tse, Susanna Kwan & Joe Ma Autograph Session

12th September 2010

Dear Chibi,

Today was a really exciting & memorable day for me! TVB artists Joe Ma, Michael Tse (Laughing Gor) and Susanna Kwan came to Sydney for the Jade World Carnival, and today was the autograph session. Like the previous year, it was held at China Town Sussex Centre but in order to get an autograph we had to spend over $30 to go into a draw. Despite our efforts, Kaz end up drawing out 2 Moon Cake prizes instead, which left us slightly disappointed but the value of the cakes kind of made it okay XD

Nevertheless, we decided to turn up anyway since it was so much fun meeting Linda Chung and Moses Chan last year. The session started at 2pm, so after having some Japanese ramen, Jacky, Kaz and I joined in the crowd a little earlier to get a good view. We kept squealing when they arrived, it feels so amazing meeting celebrities in real life =D Laughing Gor was cool, Susanna Kwan was lovely and Joe Ma was so..charming XDDDD!

At first, I was most excited about Susanna Kwan and Laughing Gor, but when the time came it was Joe Ma who kept us most entertained (he was sitting right in front of us; the other two slightly further away)

Nodame Cantabile

18th July 2009

Dear Chibi,

In my previous post I mentioned I might give Nodame Cantabile ago again because of Ueno Juri’s awesome portrayal of Ruka from Last Friends. Since then, I’ve finished it and surprisingly, I really enjoyed it this time! Previously, I gave up after episode 3, but it seems the story starts getting better at episode 4. My my.

What really drew me in the story was the relationship between the clumsy and messy Nodame, and the arrogant multi-lingual perfectionist Chiaki. It was very very cute! XD There were very few romantic scenes of them together but that makes it all worthwhile in the end when they do kinda of get-together.

Nodame and Chiaki

Aside from them though, I wasn’t as interested in the other characters- so it was a good thing they got the most screen time! Eita and Mizukawa Asami from Last Friends also played some part in this drama, except I liked their characters more from Last Friends. It’s quite interesting watching this comedy after the serious nature of Last Friends, but it gives it a nice balance. Their characters are totally opposites- especially for Ueno Juri. Even now I find it hard to believe Ruka and Nodame are played by the same person… @_@ You would understand if you watched them both. XD

I can’t wait to see the special, and the 2 movies :) Ahh…Chiaki senpaiiii!!<3!

A touching end.

23rd August 2008

sessho.jpg

This was soooo cute. Now they’re one big happy puppy family XD Never thought I’d see the “Oniisaan” part! Now to wait for Rin to grow older so she can be with Sesshy <3

happyend.jpg

Inuyasha… Inuyasha.. how much your character has developed and grown T_T One of the main reasons I liked this series so much was because of him. I’m really glad he end up being with Kagome- though its so obvious they will be together, you can never know until the end, right? Well, now I know for sure its a happy ending, so yay, I feel good for them. I don’t care this is all fictional, haha!
