Floz’s Birthday @Subsolo

7th October 2018

Dear Chibi,

I’m quite surprised by how cold it’s been despite being October already. Can I please pack away my winter gear soon? ^^” This year for Floz’s birthday we had Spanish cuisine for dinner at Subsolo in the city. During the day Hubby and I went to check out The Home Show hoping to get some reno inspiration, but I think we had more luck browsing IKEA XD. I wonder when this project will become a reality? :3

Here are some snaps from the night.

Vivid Sydney @ The Royal Botanic Garden

29th May 2018

Dear Chibi,

Last night Marcus, Emily and I hung out after work to see the Vivid displays around Circular Quay. It happened to be International Burger Day so we end up dining at Maccas’ and claiming our free Big Mac, woo XD.

Vivid Sydney 2018

There’s usually a ton of people at Vivid, but it really made a difference coming on a Monday night. There were still people, but it wasn’t crazy packed where you felt like you couldn’t move.

Here are some pics I snapped along the way :D The photos aren’t great quality, but it’s about experiencing it in person…right?? XD (I didn’t feel like bringing my camera ^^”)

21st May 2018

Dear Chibi,

Korean BBQ Birthday Dinner

Guess who’s over 30? 8D My birthday weekend begun on Saturday night with Korean BBQ @ O Bal Tan with the Cofa gang. It’s been a while since we’ve hung out with everyone, but birthdays bring us together ;D

Strawberry Watermelon Birthday Cake

~Mesmerizing~  *.*

Food was pretty good and super filling! I didn’t pay too much attention to what meat I was eating, I just had whatever Hubby/Emily/MZ put on my plate (which was plenty!) XD Here are some snaps from the night (Click on the photo for a larger view)

The guys got us a chopping board I mean, cheese serving board and a gift voucher for the Cheese & Wine Room. I will definitely blog the experience when we try it out some time ^_^ Thanks everyone!

After the meal, it was time for cake & birthday wish-making :D

Somps’ 31st Birthday Lunch

30th January 2018

Dear Chibi,

Last Sunday over the long weekend, we had a get together for Sompies’ 31st birthday. Lunch was at Al Aseel in Greenacre, where we had lots of meat and garlic sauce… in my case, it was lots and lots of onions ^.^”

We ordered way too much food, but I gotta say my side of the table were much bigger eaters XD Hubby, Rayfy, Steffi and I just kept going…. It was a satisfying meal!

Emily’s Farewell @Baekjung Korean BBQ

10th April 2017

Dear Chibi,

Today Hubby and I went to Emily’s Farewell lunch at Baekjung Korean BBQ in Eastwood. I end up getting to bed around 2am last night, so I woke up feeling exhausted and fatigued. 2am may not seem like much, but when you’re almost 30.. YOU CAN DEFINITELY FEEL IT XD.

We arrived at noon and there wasn’t a table long enough to fit everyone, so Hubby, Marcus and I sat separately. The food was really tasty! I liked the cheese corn and the salad the most… Okay, okay~ the meat as well X3

We talked all sorts of nerdy things like gaming, anime & the NBA 8D (Durant is finally back, yay!) With the play-offs just around the corner, things are getting pretty exciting. We’ll see how the next few months unfold :O *fingers crossed for a Warriors Championship*

Some photos from the day:

Safe travels Emily!! Hope you have an amazing time in Europe, I’m sure it’ll be a great adventure and you’ll come back with plenty of stories :)
