A day of board games & Rouge One

3rd January 2017

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday I spent the day hanging out with cBsM at Gary’s place. Gary and Ange finally moved back to Sydney into their new apartment in Hornsby. Closer, but still far for me XD. It took me close to 2 hours to get there by train, but hey I don’t do this often.

Ange had a little herb garden on her balcony, and the variety of stuff she’s growing is actually quite impressive. They’re gonna need a bigger pot (or balcony) in no time ^^”

When Burpy & Buns finally arrived, we went out to Hornsby Westfields for brunch, just a short walk across the road. I got myself a mini burrito since I wasn’t that hungry. This Westfield sort of reminds me of Castle Towers.

Rice Paper Rolls on a hot day

28th December 2016

Dear Chibi,

It was a hot summer day. We headed to Steffi’s place in Newington for DIY rice paper rolls.  And Asian drinks. And the “Ticket to Ride” board game. Somps wins again as she always does. GG :’D

Thanks again to Steffi/Rayfy for inviting us over and hosting :D

Emily’s 28th Birthday

12th July 2015

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday we celebrated Emily’s 28th Birthday with a get-together at her newly renovated apartment in Neutral Bay.  It looks really nice and modern and cosy :3 When Hubby and I first arrived, we played some FFX remastered on her PS3. Oh the early days! Speaking of FFX, I’ve been playing it at home on the PS4 and I’m almost done with the main story! Will blog about that some other time ;D

Sompies & Dong brought a bunch of boardgames along, but I was most excited about one called ‘Avalon’. It’s one of those bluffing, deduction (mafia-type) mind-games. I loveeeeeeee these sort of games. I enjoy trying to read people and tricking them at the same time. It kinda messes with their heads 8D

I ‘succeeded’ 3 out of the 4 rounds we played. I consider this a win.
