Chloe’s 1st Birthday Party

4th November 2019

Dear Chibi,

GHIBLIeve it? Chloe is TOTOROly One!

Newway threw a very adorable dress up party for Chloe’s birthday, with all the decorations and details based on Studio Ghibli’s ‘My Neighbour Totoro’. She made all the props, costumes and games herself. So creative!

P-chan’s first holiday~ Jervis Bay

3rd November 2019

Dear Chibi,

Ever since having P-chan, I wondered when & where our first family trip would be. With P-chan turning 6 months old, and our 5 year wedding anniversary coming up, now seemed like a pretty good time. An overseas holiday is long overdue, but the idea of bringing a little one seemed a bit daunting. We wanted our first trip to be as relaxing as possible.

We decided to spend 2 nights down south at Jervis Bay. We stopped by Sublime Point lookout in Wollongong for a break and Savannah Cafe in Berry for lunch. P-chan did really well in the car and we arrived at our destination in no time :D

Potluck @Newway’s

14th October 2019

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday we spent the whole afternoon at Newway & Alex’s place; munching on delicious food & catching up with everyone. Hubby tried out a new pasta recipe with meatballs. It turned out quite nice, but it probably takes a bit long for a weeknight meal.

In our last group gathering P-chan was only 7 weeks old. This time he was awake to meet everybody ^^ yay.

Thank you Newway & Alex again for being great hosts! :D! It was another wonderful day and plenty of fun for the little ones :) P-chan, Mikayla and Chloe were all pretty exhausted by the end. Little P-chan even collapsed in my arm XD.

Can’t wait for the next one. Hopefully Troy can make it then :)

P-chan’s first wedding

15th September 2019

Dear Chibi,

On Saturday P-chan attended his first wedding at Curzon Hall, the same venue his mummy and daddy tied the knot almost 5 years ago :) And of course, it’s Fiona our celebrant, again. She is everywhere XD. I’m sure this won’t be the last time we cross paths. Either way, it was all a little nostalgic :)

Vivien and Yan’s wedding took place in the beautiful ‘Eternal Garden’. We were standing right at the back but could still see her earrings and necklace glistening under the sun. So pretty!

Hubby was wondering why there are 3 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen… Poor guy at the back ^^”

After the ceremony we took some photos with P-chan in his cute little attire. SO HANDSOME X333

Awww <3

Father’s Day Brunch

5th September 2019

Dear Chibi,

A brunch to celebrate Father’s Day with Hubby at Auvers Cafe. It’s my second time here and the food is just so..DELICIOUS??? :D

Last time I ordered matcha pancakes but I wanted to have something savoury. We went with the truffle fried rice, crab omelette, hojicha latte, manga and coconut yoghurt smoothie and chips with saffron mayo. No regrets!

I want to come back and try everything else on the menu. So tempted :D

Cherry Blossom Viewing

4th September 2019

Dear Chibi,

Can’t believe spring is officially here! P-chan can finally experience warmer weather :)

On Monday, Hubby and I took P-chan to Auburn Botanical Gardens to see the cherry blossoms. The Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival ended over a week ago which meant the busy crowds were mostly gone (thankfully). We attended 3 years ago, and the ticket prices have doubled since. I guess that’s what happens when events get too popular ^^”

We took a stroll around the gardens and managed to take some photos during the short time we were there. Our days are always planned around bub’s nap times and feeds. I think the photos turned out lovely :)

Kat’s Birthday @ Cuckoo Callay

24th August 2019

Dear Chibi,

Today Kat, Kaz and I had brunch in Newtown’s Cuckoo Callay to celebrate Kat’s 33rd Birthday. It was my second time leaving bub at home, though I think I’m ready to venture out alone with him next time :).

Cuckoo Calley was located literally outside Newtown station ticket gates. It’s hard to miss the bright pink logo. I grabbed a seat inside next to a huge mirror which end up being a pretty fun prop to play with XD. Our table looks so much bigger than it is XD.

Happy Birthday sis! Hope you enjoyed your birthday treat :D

Leo’s 1st Birthday

11th August 2019

Dear Chibi,

I’m back here at Lab Kitchen, this time to celebrate our nephew Leo’s 1st birthday. The poke bowl I got last time was so yummy I was this close to ordering it again XD Instead, I went for the miso salmon and got Hubby to get the poke bowl (so I could still have some too ohoho 8D)
