Nowra Birthday Weekend away

Dear Chibi,

Hubby organised a weekend away for my birthday down south, where we spent 2 nights in a beautiful, peaceful farm in Nowra. April-May is always pretty busy for us, so it was really nice to spend this time to unwind and go slow :D

Hubby prepared a delicious meal for dinner which we enjoyed back inside the cabin.

And no winter farm experience is complete without an outdoor campfire :D I think P-chan ate half the bag of marshmallows himself… XD

We spent the rest of the night mostly outside enjoying the fire, and star gazing. P-chan helped collect sticks for the fire too.

Oh, did I mention there was cake too? :3 Yummmmm~

The next morning we had breakfast at The Book & Burrow Cafe, which was nice and cosy and had an outdoor kids play area too.

Next up we visited the Hanging Rock Lookout, which was really quite the sight! Except it was really really windy and cold.. so we didn’t stay too long ^^”

Did I mention..windy?

XD

We then travelled to Cambewarra Mountain.. and oh my isn’t this view spectacular?! (Also bonus points for no wind)

Back at the farm we managed to briefly catch a glimpse of the gorgeous sunset :3

For dinner we had a delicious Korean meal at Surah Korean BBQ. So satisfying!

Afterwards, we spent another late night outside at the campfire. It was our final night after all :)

The next morning we wandered around the farm for one last time before we started making our way back home.

First stop was Kiama Blowhole. Lots of fun there watching the waves crashing about. P-chan was so excited getting wet XD.

Our final stop before home was the Wollongong Botanical Gardens. So peaceful and quiet on a Monday. It had a pretty neat children’s playground too.

Thank you Hubby and P-chan for the beautiful memories. So blessed to have you both in my life <3
