Dear Chibi,

Happy 2nd birthday to our Hungry Little Caterpillar :3 He’s growing up to be a very kind, gentle boy and I hope he knows how much Mummy and Daddy loves him <3

P-chan has always enjoyed Eric Carle’s illustrations and is particularly fond of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Maybe it’s because it loves to eat, but most likely because it’s green – his favourite colour. I chose this book as his party’s theme to reflect this innocent time of his life…toddlerhood :)

My mother-in-law ordered this adorable custom cake for his birthday. I love all the details. It came out just as I envisioned it :)

It’s been a long time since I’ve done art and craft. This party gave me the perfect excuse to feel like a kid again :) It was time consuming, but I had lot of fun replicating his art style, painting, cutting, gluing and decorating. Hubby worked very hard on the epic (and super cute) caterpillar balloon garland which became the main backdrop for the party.

Unfortunately, P-chan was feeling unwell and couldn’t enjoy the party as much as he would’ve liked. We all made sure to give him extra cuddles today.

It was the most perfect day. Thank you to everyone who inched their way over to celebrate with us. P-chan is lucky and blessed to be surrounded by such loving family and friends. Thank you so much for the presents and sweet cards. We will open up his presents with him once he’s feeling a bit better :)
