Part 1: Los Angeles & Coastal Drive
Part 2: Exploring San Francisco
Part 3: NBA Warriors Game
Part 4: Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz

Dear Chibi,

It was time to say good-bye to San Francisco and fly to Las Vegas, the casino paradise. One of the first things we saw when we landed was this:

Oh yes of course… I shouldn’t have expected anything less. LOL! Well played Vegas..well played… XD With Casino references left and right, Las Vegas was sure to be an amusing experience.

Here we are!

We stayed at The Venetian, a luxurious hotel & casino resort situated on the Las Vegas Strip. This is probably one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed in!

Very fancy, spacious and super comfortable. We only stayed for a night, but we made most use of it.

So apart from the hotel itself, The Venetian is a massive indoor shopping center & casino in one. Just like the one in Macau, it feels like you’re outdoors since the ceiling is a sky and there’s even water. Everything is made to feel like you’re not inside a building. This was way cool! :D

I can’t believe this is inside a building. With the lighting essentially staying the same all day 24 hours, it’s very easy to lose track of time. It feels like the day is never ending, so you have unlimited time to shop or gamble XD Whatever you please.

Amazing detail in this hall ceiling

The trip has rekindled my love for waffles.

Breakfast!

Ding ding ding Neither of us gamble, so most of our time at the Casino, was watching other people win money XD

Craps! I have no idea how you play this. We watched people play a couple of times but errr..yeah. 8D hehee..

Horse betting. You actually see these miniature horse figures race around the table XDDD Omg, too funny!

A fancy looking Starbucks. We popped in for a little break.

Yup, we are still in the same building. Love the Venetian inspired architecture! We need to go to Italy one day.

Since we were only here for a day (more as a stop-over for The Grand Canyon), we decided to venture out and visit as many casinos along the strip as possible. Each of the casinos we went into had a different theme/vibe to it, but none was as grand and impressive as The Venetian.

Game of Thrones pokies.

Hah, Breaking Bad style. There seems to be a pokies for everything.

The Flamingo. Wow, so pink!

And suddenly I feel like I’m in a zoo. XD

That’s a real sky, by the way ;D

We came across Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort. We were getting hungry and there’s burgers, so why not?

These gourmet burgers were really good :O

Gigantic onions rings

The Strip looked alright during the day, but man come night time it’s a totally different game. Everywhere you turn there are flashing lights, crowds of people having drinks and an abundance of people trying to pull you in to watch their shows. A really lively atmosphere! :O Now this is what I imagined Las Vegas would be like *_* Gotta wonder where are all these people are hiding during the day? XD

So many colours!! I wanted to take photos of everything.

We walked soooo much that day, I was exhausted by the end of it. We didn’t manage to cover all the casinos like we intended to XD

Back to The Venetian.

Oh what a day. It was fun while it lasted, Vegas!

Part 6: The Grand Canyon

P.S We found a wild Meowth, and thought this photo was very suitable 8DDD

hahaa, I have no idea…. I don’t remember being out at night when I was in Macau. My experience in Macau was not very good, so I’d rather forget the whole thing XP
