Dear Chibi,

Dish #8 Pumpkin & Chicken Risotto

This pumpkin and parmesan cheese combo is godly. Really yummy stuff and super flavorful! I followed this recipe but switched out the basil for oregano instead. Served some prawns as an entree.

Dish #9 & 10 Potato & Leek Soup and Barramundi

I followed the same recipe as I did last time for the delicious potato and leek soup :D This time around I made my own croutons to go with it. Hubby gives it a thumbs up!

barramundi

My first fish dish~ Barramundi baked in a parcel. I found this recipe from a book called Chop, Sizzle, Wow: The Silver Spoon Comic Cookbook. I got it as a present and it’s really cute as the recipe is drawn like a comic. However, the recipe was for “Sea Bass” but I couldn’t find it here so I substituted it for a Barramundi instead. Here’s the 1kg fish:

I have to admit it kind of freaked me out a bit ^^” Thankfully it already had its guts removed so I didn’t have to go in there and clean it up myself… Maybe next time when I’m more brave XD

barramundi-ready

My fish ready to go into the oven. It’s covered with onions, spring onions, lemon, garlic, parsley, white wine, olive oil, salt and pepper, and stuffed with rosemary and garlic clove.

That is all for now 8D
