A visit to Kinokuniya

Dear Chibi,

I was in the city today and had time to spare so I dropped by Sydney’s Kinokuniya to see what they have in store. I used to come here all the time during my uni days, but much less now that I’m not actively following a particular anime series (apart from Sailor Moon XD)

And of course, knowing me~ I went straight to the manga section to look for Sailor Moon :D

I decided to try my luck and look for the Kanzenban (Complete) edition in the Japanese aisle.

TADA! These are much larger than the regular manga and come with a pretty prismatic cover :3 Ohh shinnies. They only had volumes 1,2 and 4 though and were priced around $30AUD each. I decided not to buy it since it’s in Japanese and I’m not really a collector. Still, it was nice to hold one and see it in person :) If you’re interested in buying, you can check out shopping links here: Where to buy Sailor Moon merchandise. The books are cheaper to buy online than at the book store.

..And..the regular Japanese manga can be found sitting on the next shelf :D

Some things we’ll never get tired of! I uploaded the entire Tintin series on my iPad last night. Oh the joy! I dunno why I didn’t do this earlier!
