progress caught on camera

7th December 2007 at 10:55 pm

Dear Chibi,

Here’s some photos of work-in-progress I took using my phone while working on the animation. Some were never used in the final thing. Every frame was drawn individually using a wacom tablet in Photoshop (at 100% scale), inked, coloured and shaded. They were then sequenced using Adobe Image Ready, then all brought into After Effects to composite.

Wow this looks pretty awesome! =D
I heard about this animation program called TVPaint. I’m gonna have a play around with it and see if it’s any better than how we’re doing it in Photoshop. Apparently we’re doing it the looong way. ;OTZ I’ll keep you up to date. =)
